On a website that is talking about taking retirement income, it may seem strange to talk about the pension savings you have been building up. It is our belief that this has to be the starting point.
This is because, very often, older pension schemes have clauses that can either benefit or disadvantage you. As a result we need to fully investigate your existing pension savings. This is all part of our service.
Simply sign a letter of authority (click here to download) for each of your pension savings. This gives us permission to write to the providers of your pension savings and get all the information and paperwork we need.
Ask any firm you are speaking to if they investigate your existing pension savings and if so, what is the list of items they look at. If they don’t do this, you need to decide if you are happy to continue without an investigation or how confident you feel about doing your own research.
